Pros and Cons of A Jeep Roof Rack
If you have ever been on a jeep run you know that space is at a premium. You either have to bring only the bare essentials or find a way to add a little more space. One of the ways that you can add the most space is by installing a Jeep Roof Rack.
A jeep roof rack can add twice the space you currently have in your jeep, especially if you have a jeep wrangler. This allows you to take along some extra gear along with some extra comforts as well.
The only draw back to having a jeep roof rack on your jeep is the limitations puts on you for being able to navigate some of the more tight areas on most jeep trails. Most of the areas that I wheel in would not allow you to get through with a roof rack.
In this case you would want to install a jeep trail rack. A trail rack doesn’t allow all that much extra room but you would be surprised at how much extra gear you can fit into your jeep when you can place a cooler or two on the outside of your jeep.
