Would you like to get a baby shower card that said "CongRATSulations" ….?

With a picture of rats wearing little baby bonnets?

I don’t see why I wouldn’t… certainly not the most wonderful card, but it’s the thought, right?

  4. I think that would be the CUTEST thing ever!!!
    However, the poses, lighting, etc. would have to work for the image.
    I enjoy this idea very much. :)

    *edit* I just don’t understand why people are so against rats! They are the smartest, cleanest, most social pet rodent you can get. (The only rodent smarter than a rat is a Squirrel)
    But whatever, to each their own, right?

    Umm no not exactly… I think I would get the impression you’re referring to my baby as a rat…. Sorry. But then again, if it was super cute and the rats were adorable (I dont know if thats possible lol), then I might just like it :-)

  10. It’s cute, different & clever. Actually, it would be an ideal card for people who have recently adopted rats.

    Our multi-species family *has* adopted rats on occasion. Also, when we planned a surprise party for a family member, we used cards featuring a photo of 2 of our own rats with party hats & a request to "not rat us out"

  12. I would be more likely to give that to someone as a "congratulations" for getting pet rats, or even for their rats having babies. It seems like it might be a little too easy for them to think you were calling their baby a rat. :O But hey, if they like rats and are into those kinds of cards, go for it.
