    Cozy Powell and Ian Haugland of a rock band Europe are my most favourite drummers. As Ian said he thought he’d like to play drums like Cozy when he was young, Ian’s drum particularly The Final Countdown era sounds like Cozy. That’s one of the reasons why I became a fun of Europe.     just a shame Cozy used the excuse that he left Rainbow cos of Ritchie going all commercial. Glass houses and stones comes to mind when he plays on this “poppy” song. Maybe more to it than meets the eye meethinks.Cozy and RB had a fallout? Still a great drummer all the same. Seen him with Rainbow, Whitesnake and MSG. Singed my eyebrows every time!
