How do i remove the bonnet scoop from my subaru impreza wrx?

I need my bonnet scoop re-sprayed ive got the paint but need to remove the scoop.

chainsaw should work, although it may need a bit of shotgunning to get it started

  2. Find out how it’s attached whether by bolts. rivets, bonded and either spanner the nuts off, drill the rivets out or erm…. don’t know about bonded sorry.

    Can’t you get the scoop sprayed while it’s still attached? I would think that would be a lot easier because you would just have to mask it off and wouldn’t have to worry about it looking wrong when it gets refitted.
