It was early in 1970 when salons began blow drying hair. I used to get up at 5:30 every morning to wash, set and dry my hair in one of those things! I had one back then similar to the one you describe, but it did not have the nail care equipment (it was probably a cheaper model). I know many ladies who collect vintage items that would love to be the proud owner of it :) I would say that would have been made in the mid-to-late 1930's all the way through to the 1960's...do you have any of the literature that came with it?
