is a dented car bonnet an mot failure?

someone has reversed into my honda civic 1.6lsi in a 4×4 and driven off, and its pushed in the bonnet up and in,so it looks raised,but it still ataches correctly, is an mot failure? can any1 help thanks

No not if it still closes properly and wont ping up as you drive along.

  7. Without seeing the car its difficult to say, however for the MOT the rule is that if parts of the body can catch a pedestrian then its a failure.
    Make sure that the bonnet can still lock closed before the test.
