what is the legality in the Uk regarding driving your car with no doors?
I know that vehicle have to be ’safe to pedestrians’ but where would you stand if you wanted to drive around with no doors on your car? Or boot? Or bonnet?
There is no legislation which says a car has to have doors, it only states that if fitted, they must close properly and be able to be opened from the inside. Beach buggies, trikes and cars like Caterams don’t have them, do they?
With regards to a bonnet, any moving or hot parts of the engine must be covered to prevent touching or entanglement.
Lol good question never thought of this !
