Carbon fiber fades, and yellows. With enough use, it will also warp.

This is the payoff you get for having a cosmetically nice, but otherwise pointless hood.

It&#039;s not the coating, it&#039;s the carbon fiber itself that is fading. You cannot make it stand out again.
