I need some peppers for jerk chicken. In the milwaukee area? If not, Chicago/northern illinois area? Not looking for habaneros. Got the pimento sticks, wood chips, leaves and berries-going for authenticity. Not in sauce or dried form-need the actual peppers. Anywhere to get them online?
No, scotch bonnets and habaneros are NOT the same. Like I said, going for authenticity. Not just looking for spice out of the peppers, looking for the added flavor they bring as well.
Quite right Scotch Bonnets are not the same as habaneros.
See if either of these businesses can get Scotch Bonnets in for you.

Hi all. I’ve had a minor collision in my ‘88 camry and the headlights (and blinkers) are messed, and my bonnet needs straightening again. The car is only worth $500, so I’m wondering is it actually worth fixing. How much would I be looking at to repair the headlights and blinkers, and reshape the bonet and front grill?
Thanks
It would easily cost you more than the vehicle is worth.
See if you can trade it in for a newer vehicle.

I’ve recently bought a Suzuki Jimny JLX soft top although I cant seem to open the bonnet, I’ve tried looking for a button to open the bonnet but cant find one anywhere. I’ve taken the hooks from the top of the bonnet up to release it but still nothing. Is there something Im missing or is it just jammed?
Look for the hood release inside tthe glove box…..If it is like the Side-Kick in the USA that is where they hide it.
Last summer I pressure washed my car with an industrial machine and the paint started to bubble a bit, then bit by bit, my bonnet has now lost half of its paint which makes my car look like a wreck. I would really like to repair it.
Is there any way I can repaint it myself (in which case, what products do I buy?). If not, how much might it cost for it to be repaired professionally?
Not really a simple job unless you have access to a compressor & spray-gun. If these tools aren’t a problem the main thing to bear in mind is preparation. The better sanded, filled & undercoated the better. Applying the top coat is a little more skillful as runs or orange peel effect ruin the final outcome. The best thing to do is remove the bonnet & prepare it for top coat yourself, then pay a professional sprayer to finish the job for you. They will get the correct colour match & you’ll end up with a great job for a fraction of the cost.
I need my bonnet scoop re-sprayed ive got the paint but need to remove the scoop.
chainsaw should work, although it may need a bit of shotgunning to get it started
I was wondering if there are any experts out there. Who could give me a rough / average cost i should expect to be qouted. For my replacement bonnet to be re-sprayed the same mettalic green as my car. In uk so in £’s is possible, Thankyou.
I’ve just been quoted £250 for two doors and a rear-side panel (metallic paint) so I would say no more than about £150.
The best advice I can give is to get more than one quote. Also, deliberately go to a really cheap place and then use their quote to get better places to bring their prices down! (I got my quote reduced from £295!)
