I would like to know how old it is. It is called "Signature portable electric hair dryer" It has a hose which attaches to a case and to a bonnet. The bonnet has multiple air vents, which the hot air blows through. It also has a place to put perfume so that the air smells like the perfume of your choice. In addition it has a place and attachments for nail care, including electric buffers, files, nail dryer etc.
Does any one know when these were manufactured?
I would never sell this item, it is part of my history.

The 1960’s & early 1970’s.
Some models had plastic caps/bonnets, some had plastic hoods.

Mine was light pink, with darker pink daisey-like flowers on the cap/bonnet.
We covered our ears with Kleenex to prevent the heat from burning them.
The elastic in the bonnet always left a mark on our foreheads.

In the early ’60’s, we used brush rollers (a wire covered in a plastic mesh with a brush inside), which was held in place by a pick (looked like a large plastic toothpick).
When we were in a hurry, we took the brush out of the roller, which helped our hair dry faster, and secured the mesh roller with a large bobby pin.
By the mid-’60’s, we had plastic rollers with plastic clamps which fit over the rollers to hold them in place.

The portable hair dryer was nice, if we had time to sit in one place while our hair dried.
Most of the time, our mom used it.
It was easier for us to sleep with the rollers in our hair and let it dry over-night.

I have removed all of the deeper surface scratches on my car with premium polishing compound with a random orbital buffer with a cotton bonnet. now i need to work on removing minor light scratches in the paint. the polishing compound is too abrasive and just makes more of these light scratches. so what is the best scratch/swirl remover for clearcoat paint to use for this and what kind of bonnet is best to use? note that my car is silver with black racing stripes. in the silver the scratches are not even noticeable in the sun, but are visible when artificial light especially LEDs are shining on it. so that isn’t my main concern. but i have both painted black racing stripes and vinyl stripes on my car. and in the daylights i can easily see these swirls in the black and it doesn’t look good so that is what i need to work on most. so just with this information what would be best to use? Thanks

If the scratches are in only a small area then you could try a rubbing compound and then a polishing product and then a wax. Always check your progress as you go, so you do not cause more damage. Find out what products the pro’s use. There are many forums on the web. They tend to be alot better than over the counter products. If the scratches are all over the paint i would recommend that you talk to a quality detailer. It would be too time consuming without doing it by machine.By electric buffer expect to pay for a least 4 hours work for minor scratches and more if you need more than a light buff. Make sure they are qualified by asking them questions on previous work, referrals and experience.

Another option is to use a wax that hides and fills the scratches. This is only a temperary fix as it wears off in a short time and then you are back to square one . I recommend that everyone get to know your detailer. They are a great source of info on keeping your second largest investment
looking new and will give you instuctions on not getting scratches in the first place.

I would never sell it. It is a part of my history! I am so enjoying the stories that this old old hair dryer has brought to life!

It could be as late as the 1960s, too. I had one back then similar to the one you describe, but it did not have the nail care equipment (it was probably a cheaper model). Mine is a Sears Kenmore, and my mother and I still use it.

So how would i go about doing this after i wash and dry the car thouroughly?

Answer with best details is greatly appreciated and gets best answer, obviously

Be very careful with a power buffer, If you have not used one before, now is not the time to learn on your paint job. To much pressure and you can burn through the paint on high spots.
Use only a high quality WAX. Do not buy a polish, this will also contain a small amount of rubbing compound in it. This will leave swirl marks in the paint. Never use a polish on paint with a clear coat over it.
Manufactures will typically tell you if your car has a clear coat and tell you it never needs wax. You can wax it but do not polish.
If the paint is old and oxidized you will need a polish to bring it back to a shine, then a wax on top of that.
Start doing it by hand until you learn the job well. Do it in the shade. Apply a thick coat of Wax and let dry to a cloudy haze. Then buff it down with lots of clean, lint free terry cloth towels or cheesecloth.

Then, I must mention that this time (2 mn 42 s) has been made using a Dark Matter fully charged, and it is with the European version of this game, where Omega Mark has around 1 000 000 HP (and not 10M).

ENG: Here is Omega Mark XII in Wyrmhero blade Challenge, where we must chain the wyrm, Omega, Yiazmat, making Wyrmhero blade, and the fights on Bahamut in the shortest time possible!
The lure has Bubble, Bravery, Berserk, Haste, Lure and Reverse; he’s equipped with Magepower Shishak/Maximillian, a nice Masamune/Tournesol (when Omega gets critical), Genji gloves; and his only gambit is : Self — Berserk.
Auxiliary 1 has Protect, Bubble, Berserk, Bravery; he’s equipped with Masamune, Magepower Shishak/Maximillian, and Hermes Sandals. He also has a Berserk gambit.
Auxiliary 2 has the same buffs/gambit/protections; but he has Sagittarius/Assassin’s arrows and Cat-Ear Hood.
The buffer/healer has Protect/Bravery/Faith/Bubble/Haste/Vanish (in the beginning); she’s equipped with Zodiac Spear (to heal the lure in case he gets critical), Golden Skullcap / Glimmering Robes, and finally an Indigo Pendant. Her gambit is (lure character) — Reverse (the other buffs are manual).
The development of the fight is the following: the buffer is the leader; she casts Expose once or twice before the first Reverse and, as soon as this Reverse is done, makes a single secondary action before the next Reverse; this action is alternately Lure (on the lure character) and Curaga on the auxiliary, who loses PV with the “Return Damage” bonus of Omega. Cast Hastega motes when necessary. And so on.
As soon as the spider gets critical, replace auxiliary 1 by 2 and change the lure’s weapon.
And, when you’re sure the HP of your enemy are under 50 000… Dark Matter!

Thanks for watching, leave your comments if you wish to say anything!

~~Music:~~
“All messed up”, Sum 41 (Live in Tokyo)
Thanks to CellarDoor.

This unique driver system also mounts to an ortment of pads and brushes to clean, scrub, sand, strip, and polish any carpet and hard floor.
The HOS system was designed in mind to support a healthy indoor environment. Carpets will simply be clean, vibrant in color, and dry within minutes. The system will eliminate the most common problems caused by other cleaning methods that lead to mold growth, mildew, volatile organic compounds (VOC), insufficient drying times, recurring stains, and safety hazards.

HOS unique low-moisture system uses 10 times less the amount of water opposed to other water extraction methods. Therefore, over-wet carpets will never be an issue. The problems ociated with over-wet carpets are intensified in a heavily used setting. Over-wet carpets require longer drying times. This can cause large sections of a building to be blocked off for extended periods of time. Especially in a school, hospital, or commercial building this can lead to serious safety issues. People walking from a wet or damp carpet directly onto a hard-surface floor can slip or fall. Also, wet carpets that are walked on will almost always resoil more quickly. This is because the chemicals and moisture act as a magnet, pulling dirt and debris into the carpet fibers.

Most dry soil in a commercial or residential carpet can be readily removed by routine dry vacuuming. However, its the oily and sticky soils that attract and hold dry soil to the carpet fibers. The result is a dull, gray, and ugly appearance. To effectively remove these soil particles from the carpet fibers, the right amount agitation is needed. Orbital drive technology is the answer. The orbital drive of the Orbot generates hundreds of small oscillations that spin at roughly 1725 revolutions per minute. This orbital drive pattern allows for all sides of the carpet fibers to be agitated and therefore all of the soil will be effectively removed from the carpet fiber. To ensure that the agitated soil will not stick to the carpet fiber again, a Polymer is needed to trap and encapsulate these soil particles. The polymer element in Environ will form distinct crystals when it dries. These crystals are the principle vehicles that stop wicking or the reoccurring of stains. They also enable the soil particles to be extracted through post-vacuuming, which keeps carpets cleaner for longer periods of time.
