Blue Bonnet

okay im african american with a little indian and white mixed in so basically i have what sum people consider "pretty" or "easy to work with" hair. i want to kno the right products i should use to keep it looking nice even a week after getting it done at the salon. wrapping doesnt always seem to work(maybe its the scarf i use) . should i use a bonnet? or a hair polisher? what???

silk scarf. thats best. do you want it to look healthy or salon fresh? you should ask your hair lady next time you go. they know your hair. but if it helps at all, blue mmagic is great for you’re hair.

Before you tell me that my paint job will fall off in 2 months, let me say that people have done this and had it last for years without any fading…

Anyway, I did a ‘$50 paint job’ with Rustoleum enamel on my old car, but I’m having trouble getting a good shine on most of it, however, I have gotten a very nice shine on the thin strip of metal on the top of the hatch, so I HAVE gotten a good shine on part of it so far, therefore I know it can be shined.

As far as I’m concerned, I’m not doing anything different on this part of the car than when I polished and got a good result with the exception of number of coats (there are more coats on this panel I’m having trouble with).

Here’s what I’m using;
-Wool Bonnet
-Hand Wetsanding with 1000, then 1500, then 2000 (it was fairly flat, at least good enough for an old car)
-Cheap Random Orbit single speed polisher
-Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound first
-Turtle Wax Polishing Compound second

I’ve got a dull sheen, but it’s so dull it’s only visibly shiny if you look at it from the side.

jason is right, you need to a clear coat. make sure to remove all the wax first. wash it dish detergent, that will strip any wax, no guarantees on if it affects the paint or not.

Manual for 880-X Glass Coating Solution POMPONAZZI

Important Notice: Please, do not apply it in the basement, but do so when a bonnet is completely cooled under no humid circumstance. And do not apply it when the temperature of vehicle surface is hot. Apply it under the shade since the surface of a vehicle will be hotter in a place where receiving sunlight directly. It is of much easy to apply when the surface of a vehicle is cooler. This product will give you semi-permanent glass coating with only single treatment. It will be fine for being exposed to rain for 3days and for the period of 1st drying procedure after the treatment. Also, it will be fine for washing your car during the second drying procedure for 7days. Totally, it takes 10days to complete. In the event of hardly stains, you may clean with acetone within 24hours, which you can find it easily in a convenience store. It will wash out dust, bird , dirt, and all other kinds of contaminants amazingly without applying any detergent, what you need is nothing but high-pressure washing after 7 to 10days as completing all coating procedures.

1st Step: Washing by using an alkali detergent
You must remove all wax and acidic contaminants that previously remained on your vehicle. In order for complete removal of contaminants and wax (acidic elements), wash your car with a powdered detergent for washing machine use, which is strong oil-remover. If you use the coating agent without washing, it will stain due to oil. Please pay attention on this matter. Please ensure that there is not humidity and that the application takes place under complete dry conditions.

2nd Step: an undiluted coating.
Get a cloth (microfiber) ready and cut it at the size of 8cm in wide and 5cm in length and prepare several and soft cotton flannels for use in vehicle cleaning as the quality of cleaning a face. When you have finished all cloth, its time to begin. First, pore catalyst in a small capsule into the solution bottle and shake it for around 10 seconds. Gas may be generated after shaking them together. Therefore apply the mixed solution while the lid is being closed.

First, get the cloth smeared with the solution and wipe the vehicle as in the shape of a spring, rounding up and down in every nook and corner as applying the solution all over the vehicle within 5mins. After accomplished wiping, wait for 30minunites and wipe stains with normal soft cloth, then it will be completed.
(It is normal if you get a bit tight feeling on the surface as the solution getting harder. If you feel too soft or too easy to get rid of stains, then wait another 10minutes.
The total treatment takes around 1hour and around a half of a bottle can be consumed (Coating needs only once). When bubbles rise up, stop treating and use the rest on a dashboard of inside of the vehicle or other plastic areas. Do not keep the rest solution but dispose it. It is impossible to keep it since it will be hardened after mixing both the undiluted solution and catalyst.

3rd Step: Removing minor stains
The minor stains left over you have missed can be removed if you find them within 24hours. Buy acetone being used for cleaning manicure of womens fingernails in convenience store or a drug store nearby, and shake it with soft cloth and remove the rest.

▶ In case of new or less than 6month old vehicles with minor scratches, you dont need to polish since all scratches will be out of sight soon only with this amazing glass coating application. If you still need to polish due to serious scratches, please, apply it after you completely removed wax on the surface of the vehicle by means of an alkali detergent after polishing because compound, which is commonly used for polishing, contains organic wax elements.

I just painted my car blue.
I wetsanded a panel with 600 grit paper to remove orange peel and then tried to polish with a single speed random orbit polisher with a wool polishing bonnet using the regular cheapest turtlewax polishing compound…. but it’s turning out dull!!!

I’m using a little water and leaving it in one spot for 60 to 90 seconds, but its’ dull…. What am I doing wrong?

You may need a harsher polishing/rubbing agent. If you know you have lots of paint on this car this should be safe if not your going to have to 600 sand the whole surface and then shoot it with clear coat.

600 is actually a deeper grit than you think. Your going to need a" rubbing" agent long before a "polishing agent."

katie: I think it’s time to sleep. It’s already 4 AM.

(A wonderful day kevin thought. He looked out to the window and stretched his arms, The sun was bright and it was blinding Joe so he blocked the sunlight with his hand. There it was, pink nail polish. His eyes widened and realized that even his toe nails were painted pink. He ran to the bathroom and looked at the mirror and screamed out loud.)

- Dining Room -

(They were eating breakfast with only their boxers on and they already washed the make-up off, but there were still some left. They all heard kevins loud Scream)

joe: I guess he’s already awake.
nick: This sucks!.
joe: (Eating breakfast with his laptop beside his food, surfing the net.) They really hit the Jackpot. They even took our clothes.
kevin: (Running towards them, with his face wet.) It won’t come off, this stuff in my eyes. (He looked into the mirror) OH MAN!! I look like a drag queen!
joe: Hey look, mackenzie emailed me. (Reading the mail) It’s just a greeting…. Oh there’s a link.

(As joe opened the link. They all looked into the monitor, to their surprise they all had a gay account. The guys were caught off guard. The girls delivered multiple attacks. I wonder what the boys will do? Anyway, good work ladies.)
