A blowdryer, or something similar, that blows COLD air (not room temperature)?

Cool air is supposedly better than hot air for your hair in terms of damaging it. Also hot water/air makes the hair cuticle open up, whereas cold water/air makes the hair cuticle close so hair is shinier.

What I want to know is does anyone know of any type of hair dryer, or anything else that actually generates COLD air (except for having to just stand in front of an AC unit or something)? I know that blow dryers have that "cold shot" button but it’s not really even cool… it’s just room temperature air and even then it is still warm because of the dryer being so hot. I am looking for something I can use to blow COLD air onto my hair when I dry it to make it smoother. Preferably something shaped like a blow dryer. Or even a small machine that hooks up to a cap. Any one know of anything? Any ideas? What are some different inventions out there? Where can I buy?

(Oh and, I know you can use cold water on hair too, but I am looking for something to dry my hair).

Thanks!

I would like specific places I can find such a thing, if possible. If the only thing that can cool air is an AC unit, where can I find one that has a hose, or a round opening? That way I could attach a soft bonnet cap to it.

Let it dry naturally is a great option or you can try a few different hair dryers until you find one with a good cool setting, the expensive ones are great for cool settings, the is actually cool trust me.

If you wanted it to take hours to blow dry your hair, you may as well just let it air dry.
if a company made such a thing, they’d be retarded.

edit: or buy a fan, i hear they work wonders ::rolls eyes::

good thinking. unfortunately, i dont think there are any appliances made like that so far. what u can do is,

get a blow dyer which has a cool shot button in it. Make sure u press the button right away when it is switched on, or else, the air will be slightly hot.
Stand in front of a blowing air conditioner and blow ur hair.

-anyway blow dyers are invented to dry hair fast,, cold air will only strengthen the bond of the water molecule and makes it less volatile,, it wont give quick result, business minded companies wont invent such thing. -
