I have a figurine of a dutchgirl with two baskets The bottom says hand painted – shafford – Japan.?

The figurine is a dutch girl with a dutch bonnet on her head. She is wearing a dress with an apron. Two baskets, on on either side of her. The left has a tall handle and the right one has to small hand handles. There are flowers on each basket. She has a yoke on her back with ties to hook up the baskets. The bottom says: HAND PAINTED

Japan

I’m not sure just what your Q is, but if you’re wondering if it is a Dutch piece. I would say no. If it is a true Dutch piece it will say Holland on the bottom. I think "japan" just means crappy rip-off!
