The bluebonnet, a name common to several North American species of Lupinus, is the state flower of Texas. They typically grow about 0.3 m (1 ft) tall. The name is possibly derived from the shape of the petals of the flower and their resemblance to the bonnets worn by pioneer women to shield themselves from the sun.

Texas A&M University researchers were successful in breeding red and white strains, creating a Texas state flag in bluebonnets for the 1986 Texas Sesquicentennial.

On March 7, 1901, Lupinus subcarnosus (also known as Buffalo clover) became the only species of bluebonnet recognized as the state flower of Texas. However, Lupinus texensis (Texas bluebonnet) emerged as the favorite of most Texans. The flowers’ deep blue blossoms can be seen from March through May in many areas of Texas. As a result of this popularity, in 1971 the Texas Legislature made any species of bluebonnet the state flower.

Docjazz4’s “Are you an ocarina guru” contest: my entry

This is my entry to Docjazz4’s “Are you an ocarina guru” contest, and my interpretation of “I have a bonnet trimmed with blue”. The last parts (not on the original score) are mine.

I recorded it live, in one pass, with a kind of loopstation. This device replays the last played part adlib, and new parts can be overdubbed. So I begin by composing a backing track, then play the song on it.

After the recording, I mixed the song: panned the backing tracks to get a stereo song, added a small reverb, and a bit of compression to polish.

The ocarinas are a Mountain Ocarinas Warmstone G and Polycarb C. The percussions are… you’ll see

The intro is done in esperanto, since my english is, well… what it is…

i like this car, no actually i love this car. i love the car components you cann add such as a sunroof and a bonnet scoop and a spoiler. although the bonnet scoop doesnt suite the car i think its awsome they are including these options.
